Episode description: Jamie and Stu attend a red-carpet party thrown by Kanye West; while they're waiting to enter the press line,they spot Kevin Federline, who is getting tons of media attention. Stu says that if Jamie's going to get the kind of attention that Federline does, he's going to need to "Up His #$%@". He needs to get photographed with a famous girlfriend so they can up their status and "blow up." Jamie hires a paparazzi friend to go on a "celebrity safari," hoping to capture a photo of Jamie with a hot female celeb to splash on the cover of the tabloids. After a few false spottings, they run into Mena Suvari, who Jamie sneaks up on and scares the hell out of; when he mentions the "Up Your #$%@" theory to her, she laughs and flees. As night falls, their desperate measures continue until they meet up with Real Estate Agent/Talent Scout Burt Bakman. The guys say they have a few photos, but none that could be a story. Burt has a story for them - the tale of The Ring of Jessica; once, when she was opening for Ricky Martin, Jessica Simpson lost a ring with great sentimental value. Burt then found the ring, and held on to it - he suggests that Jamie give it back to her as a way to get a photo with her. The paparazzi friend agrees: "That's a picture that would get you huge press." In exchange for the ring, Jamie has to promise to sign with Burt as a manager. Jamie calls Joe Simpson, and Joe agrees to get Jessica to a restaurant where Jamie can return the ring to her, not knowing that Jamie also wants to catch her on film in an "engagement" scenario. The boys' brilliant plan goes all to hell when Joe himself shows up and demands the ring back.
