Episode description: In the pages of the Bible, the mysterious Queen of Sheba appears at the palace of Solomon bearing many fabulous gifts, including one of the world's most valued substances - frankincense. After a few short passages, this mysterious woman and her entourage disappear back into the desert from whence they came. In search of answers, Josh Bernstein starts his journey at religious libraries in Washington, D.C., and then jets to Ethiopia, on the horn of Africa, to the legendary home of the queen. Who was Sheba and where did she get wealth enough to impress the legendary Solomon himself? Following the trail of the ancient incense trade routes, Josh must travel to the Southern Arabian country of Yemen where the old traditions of the desert sheikhs still govern the land. Trekking into the dangerous countryside, where kidnapping is commonplace, Josh soon searches for clues to the queen's legacy. He eventually gains access to the Mahram Bilqis, a temple said to have been built by the queen herself. Amidst the shifting sands that threaten to rebury this ancient site, Josh may find the final evidence he's looking for, and he could even come face-to-face with the elusive queen.
