Episode description: When Eddie (Brad Garrett) and Joy's (Joely Fisher) daughter Allison (Krysten Ritter) returns home for summer vacation with her boyfriend Doug (Timm Sharp), the two immediately set up camp outside of the Stark household in his broken down van. With Joy swamped at work, Eddie becomes bored with the abundance of time on his hands that summer break brings, while Jeff (Eddie Kaye Thomas) grows uptight with Steph (Kat Foster) for slacking off on her thesis. After begrudgingly agreeing to join the group "camping" in his driveway, Eddie begins to enjoy his summer and the relaxed environment that accompanies it.
