Episode description: Astro visits the underground uranium quarry on the Cross Island with Dr. Elephant and meets Buck, an uncompleted robot. Prof. Terapin, the creator of Buck, breaks out of prison with Mandrake's gang, sneaks onto the island and makes Buck into a transformation robot, but Terapin's gang use Buck for a uranium robbery. Prof. Terapin is killed and Buck chases and destroys the gang's submarine with Astro but is damaged and becomes an ordinary robot.
