Episode description: Astro goes on a research trip to a desert area in the woods but his plane is attacked and crashes. Astro is saved by a mouse robot called Pecos Pete and encounters Atlas and Livian in a huge crystal that has emerged from a hole in the desert. Astro finds out the crystal is the reason the area has turned to desert. Escaping from the crystal, Astro fights Atlas in space. But Livian is sacrificed and Atlas leaves.
