Episode description: In this final episode from Spokane, Washington, Antiques Roadshow host Mark L. Walberg and appraiser Bill Mercer visit the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture and its collection of exquisite beaded bags, crafted by Indian tribes of the Columbia River region. Discoveries abound at the Spokane Convention Center as well, including a circa 1900 Louis XIV-style clock, made in France and acquired by the owner's grandfather, who owned a silvermine in Montana; a beautifully-preserved nineteenth-century silk Heriz rug; and an heirloom desk and chair used at the United States House of Representatives from 1857 to 1873. Rarely found together—with the desks being far scarcer than the chairs—the matched pair prompts appraiser Brian Witherell of Witherell's Americana Auctions to estimate the set's combined valued at $40,000.
