Episode description: When Eddie (Brad Garrett) and Joy's (Joely Fisher) daughter Allison, (guest star Lauren Storm) returns home from college with news that she has broken up with her long time tree-hugging boyfriend, Doug (guest star Timm Sharp), her parents could not be happier. Putting up a fight, Doug persistently makes every attempt to win her back, prompting Eddie to put an end to it once and for all. When Eddie arrives at Doug's home with Kenny (J.B. Smoove) , he discovers that Doug is loaded, and after sharing the news with Joy, they both decide that Doug might not be so bad for their daughter after all.
